Katy stayed at No. 13 in the state while Jordan jumped one spot to No. 23 in this week’s Dave Campbell’s Texas Football rankings.

Katy remained at No. 13 in the Class 6A rankings after a 49-0 win over Seven Lakes in which the Tigers pulled away and never let the Spartans get close. Katy improved to 4-1 in with the win and remained tied for the lead in district with Jordan before heading into a bye week this week.

The Warriors improved one spot after a 50-14 win, jumping from No. 24 to 23 while improving to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in district, staying tied for the District 19-6A lead after a big week. The Warriors will play Cinco Ranch this week in a big district matchup.

Jordan jumped over Northwestern Nelson, who fell out of the rankings this week. The top five remained the same as Duncanville, North Shore, North Crowley, DeSoto and Summer Creek remained one through five.
