Katy Deltas to host Katy ISD school board candidate forum Saturday
The Katy Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority has organized a Katy ISD candidate forum, set for 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Powerhouse Christian Church, 1818 Katyland Dr.
Three school board seats are up for election and the candidates for those seats have been invited to participate. The event is open to the public.
The forum is the first of three that have been scheduled by various local organizations. The Chi Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has organized a forum for 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. April 1 at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library, 2620 Commercial Center Blvd. The Katy Area Chamber of Commerce has organized a forum for 7-8:30 p.m. at Cinco Ranch High School, 23440 Cinco Ranch Blvd.
