The award-winning Katy Youth Choir -- a 501(c)3 non-profit community choral program that strives to give each child a voice through the power of music – has opened registration for the coming season, the organization announced in a July 17 Facebook post. “Our mission is to give every child a voice,” a group spokesperson said in the post. “We encourage all children and youth from all musical and lifestyle backgrounds to join our program. Whether your child has years of musical training or none at all, we have a spot for them.”
