The Fort Bend Junior Service League (www.fbjsl.org) announced the opening of its annual recruitment drive for the 2024-2025 league year on June 20. The organization is seeking women 21 and older interested in community service, fellowship, and philanthropy. The League is best known for its signature Sugar Plum Market event, which has raised over $4.3 million dollars distributed to Fort Bend County nonprofit organizations.

To learn more about FBJSL and how to join, women can visit bjsl.org/join/how-to-become-a-member/. FBJSL will also be hosting multiple recruitment events over the summer where potential new members can learn more about the League. Information regarding attending these events may be found at www.fbjsl.org as well as on the FBJSL Facebook Page.

“Supporting nonprofit organizations throughout Fort Bend County and serving with like-minded women since 2019 are just a couple of reasons I continue to come back to Fort Bend Junior Service League,” said Director of New Members Michelle Vargas. “Through FBJSL, I have created meaningful bonds and truly special friendships, but I have also been given countless opportunities to give back and make a positive impact on others' lives, which is truly fulfilling.” For more information, please email publicrelations@fbjsl.com.
