Katy Tiger fans held an informal parade Sunday afternoon in support of Katy High School athletes. The group was escorted by Katy Police Department motorcycle officers for safety and made quite a bit of noise as they passed residents that came out to watch the hullabaloo.  

The event held Sunday had originally been scheduled for the prior weekend but had been postponed due to rain. It was organized by locals who wanted to ensure that Tiger athletes felt the support of their community. 

The parade route began at Cane Island, then passed along Morton Road and then south to First Street and back to Cane Island.
