Justice Carlton was named the District 19-6A MVP after a season in which she led Seven Lakes to the regional tournament for the first time since 2013.

The sophomore had an impressive sophomore campaign as she was a focal point of a Seven Lakes team that was named co-district champs along with Tompkins. She also recorded a 42-point triple double in the playoffs with 21 rebounds and 10 blocks.

Seven Lakes head coach Angela Spurlock was named the district coach of the year for her efforts in guiding the Spartans to the regional semifinals.

Macy Spencer was named the offensive MVP of the district after helping Tompkins reach the regional quarterfinals and become co-district champions.

Spencer grew in her junior year to become one of the best guards in the area, taking on ballhandling and facilitative duties for Tompkins while also being their top scoring option on offense, becoming a weapon in all phases of the game.

Cinco Ranch’s Madison Mascorro was named the district’s defensive player of the year after helping the Cougars reach the bi-district round. Mascorro averaged 10 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in her senior season.

Cinco Ranch’s Aniya Foy garnered newcomer of the year honors in the district. The freshman led the team in scoring with 16.4 points per game while also averaging 5.8 rebounds per game and 3 steals per game.
