According to a Richmond Police Department press release, a 16-year-old child has been killed after a shooting incident the evening of July 6 at an apartment complex located at 1930 Rocky Falls in Richmond – county seat for Fort Bend County. The young man was brought to Oak Bend Medical Center at about 11:40 p.m. and the shooting was subsequently reported to authorities.

“Allegedly, a 19-year-old male fired a single shot striking a 16-year-old male.  Both the victim and the suspect were inside the same apartment when the shooting occurred,” the RPD statement said.
