Ray was an entrepreneur, mechanic, two-time national NHRA race winner, and devoted family man. A lifelong drag racing enthusiast who came of age during the sport’s golden era, Ray was a builder, tuner, and strategist at heart, embracing racing as both craft and culture. Known for his competitive spirit, thoughtful presence, and integrity, he carried the camaraderie of the track throughout his life and lived with purpose and deep love for his family and community.
