Charles Stuart Keel, age 63, of Pattison, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2026. He was born on September 11, 1962, in Houston to Evelyn and Larry Keel.

Charlie is now in the loving arms of his heavenly Father. Charlie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Della Keel, with whom he shared almost 21 years of marriage filled with growth, laughter, love, and silliness — a relationship that grew from giddy beginnings and learning each other into a fun and deeply loving partnership; his daughters, Kristina Keel, Kori Keel, and Tabatha Harrell; and his cherished grandchildren, Sean, Aaryn, Kaylyn, Wesley, Hallie, and Addisyn. He is also survived by his brothers, David and Kevin, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Larry Keel; his brother, Paul; his beloved Aunt Fern; his uncle, Charles; and his sister, Nancy.

Charlie was a shop foreman and master mechanic who could usually be found working on his beloved ’68 Charger or out driving his 2020 Challenger. He loved heading to Baytown to race cars and never lost his passion for horsepower and the open road. A devoted animal lover, he cared deeply for rescues and his chickens, though he never quite shared his wife’s enthusiasm for her bees.

He was proudly sober for 21 years, a two-time cancer survivor, and faced life with strength and determination while living with MS. No matter what challenges came his way, he was always finding projects around the house to make it a warm and loving home for his family.

Charlie loved old rock and ’80s music, and some of his daughters’ favorite memories were the times he took them hunting and horseback riding when they were young.

Charlie will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his strength, resilience, and the lasting memories he created with those closest to him. His presence, kindness, and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.

The family appreciates the thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
