Brenda Moore Pope, 73, of Katy, TX passed away at her residence on Monday, January 31, 2022. She served as administrative secretary at James E. Taylor High School, Katy, TX from its opening in 1979 until her retirement at the end of 2010. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronnie Lee Pope, daughter Kristi Pavlasek and son-in-law John Pavlasek of Plano, TX and grandson, Jacob Pavlasek of Plano, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents Louie Woodrow Moore of Hermansville, MS and Ernestine “Cricket” Echols Rosenbohm of Bentonia, MS. Graveside services will be conducted in Dover Cemetery, Bentonia, MS on Sunday, February 6th at 2:00 pm under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home. No visitation is scheduled.
