The 19th Annual Monterey Square Wine and Arts Fair will return to historic downtown Wharton on Saturday, October 10 from 4 to 10 p.m., transforming the courthouse lawn and surrounding square into an open-air celebration of Texas wine, artistry, music, and community.

Presented by the Monterey Square Merchants Association, the annual event invites guests to shop, sip, and stroll beneath the lights of the historic Wharton County Courthouse. The evening will feature Texas wine sampling, craft beer, live music throughout the event, craft and food vendors, horse-drawn carriage rides, caricature and balloon artists, a photo booth, and a 20-foot sports screen.

Two advance tasting packages are currently available through the event website. The Standard package is $25 and includes 10 wine-tasting tickets. The Premium package is $35 and includes 20 wine-tasting tickets. Both packages include a wine glass, a decorative security wristband identifying the guest as age 21 or older, and a gift bag. Event-day packages will cost $10 more—$35 for Standard and $45 for Premium. Additional tasting tickets will be available at the event for $1 each. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase or sample wine.

The fair will take place at 100 S. Fulton St. in Wharton. Advance tickets are available through the official event website at montereysquarewineartsfair.com or directly through Eventbrite.
