Jensen came back Mayde Creek in 2021 to lead the Rams football program. After helping build up the Creek up for the last three years, he will be transitioning into a new role this summer, as Jensen will be promoted to an assistant athletic director position within the school district. more

Jordan sophomore Cole Pregler had a good week at the Class 6A State Golf Tournament and was in contention going into day two. Pregler was Katy ISD one entry into the boys state tournament and he finished tied for 31st overall. more
Katy ISD had a strong meet at the Region III-6A track and field meet and sent a number of athletes to the state track and field meet this week after big performances. more

Katy stayed tied for the lead in district with a big win over Taylor on Tuesday, while Tompkins locked up a playoff spot despite a loss to Paetow, while Jordan shut out Morton Ranch for a win. more
“We’re focusing on the game in front of us but it’s important and we really want it,” DeYoung said. “It’s the first time in school history we’d go back to back and there isn’t’ a better group of guys to do it with. I’m excited we have this opportunity.” more
Madison Lambert picked up a big honor on Wednesday, capping off her senior season by being named the District 19-6A MVP after a terrific year where she helped the Warriors clinch their first ever district title. more
“It’s playoffs every single night in 19-6A. There’s no getting ready for playoffs because you are already at that level. We take on a district champion in the first round but our kids handle it, they’re prepared for that type of thing because they face it every game. That's how it is in Katy ISD." more
Katy and Taylor both won on Friday to move into a tie for first place in district with Cinco Ranch, while Tompkins outlasted Jordan to stay in fourth place and Morton Ranch earned its second district win of the season. more
