The Fulshear district office of U.S. Congressman Troy Nehls is now accepting intern applications for our paid 2026 Fall Internship Program. Nehls represents House District 22 in the U.S. House of Representatives; the district includes portions of Katy, Fulshear, Richmond and Rosenberg.

This full-time opportunity is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent college graduates who are interested in gaining firsthand experience in public service. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are strongly encouraged.

District interns will take on a wide range of responsibilities, from assisting constituents to supporting community outreach, offering a unique, hands-on look at the inner workings of a congressional office, according to Nehls’ July 10 e-newsletter. Interested individuals should complete and submit the form on Nehls’ website at https://nehls.house.gov/services/internships, or should apply for the internship at the district office at 6510 FM 359, Suite 200 in Fulshear. Applications must be accompanied by a cover letter and resume.

Applications close August 28. For more information, call the district office at 346-762-6600.
