Tractor Supply is celebrating National Hometown Heroes Day on November 1 by activating all 2,300+ stores nationwide to donate $500 to a local police, fire or veteran organization, totaling more than $1 million in a single day.
The Katy store, located at 444 FM 1463 in Katy, will donate $250.00 each to the Katy Police Department and the Katy Fire Department, a company spokesperson told the Katy Times in an email.
On November 1, Tractor Supply stores will also host community events like Touch-a-Truck, thank-you note stations to express appreciation for our Heroes and giveaways to bring neighbors together in celebration of local service members, veterans and first responders. “The effort shows how Tractor Supply is using its nationwide reach and local presence to give back, turning its scale and resources into meaningful community impact,” a company spokesperson said.
Local organizations receiving donations will be in-store to collect their giant checks and take photos, company officials said.
To honor those who serve local communities, Hometown Heroes will receive a 10% discount on Tractor Supply’s National Hometown Heroes Day (Saturday, November 1) and Veterans Day (Tuesday, November 11).
“The Hometown Heroes program reflects our deep gratitude for those who serve—military members, veterans and first responders,” said Hal Lawton, President and CEO of Tractor Supply. “These Heroes embody courage and commitment, and we’re proud to honor them year-round. With National Hometown Heroes Day, we’re taking that recognition further by uniting communities across the country to celebrate their service and sacrifice.”
To enjoy Hometown Heroes benefits, participants simply join Neighbor’s Club and verify their status through ID.me.
