Superheroes flock to Katy to spotlight autism awareness

A thrilling car ride captivated the near-capacity crowd at the City of Katy’s Disney-themed celebration in the town square on May 16. The event also featured a petting zoo and food and drink.

Festival goers at the City of Katy’s May 16 “Downtown Disney” event– many dressed as their favorite superheroes--were able to have their photos taken with a variety of characters from the world of Disney including Belle. Other characters present were Spiderman, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Optimus Prime and more.
