From March 26–28, thousands of craft beer lovers will gather at Typhoon Texas in Katy for one unforgettable weekend filled with incredible brews, great food, live music, and amazing community spirit.
Here’s what’s waiting for you at the event at 555 Katy Fort Bend Road in Katy:
· Hundreds of craft beers to sample
· Live entertainment and festival atmosphere -- March 27 features a Journey cover band while multiple bands are scheduled to perform on March 28
· Brewer meet-and-greets
· One of the largest and most celebrated beer festivals in the country
Organizers promise “more food, more bands and more beer” this year. There is also a Wine Grotto for those who prefer wine to beer.
This year also offers a “Best of the West” competition for Texas brewers.
And the best part — every ticket supports local charities and community programs. Wild West Brewfest is organized, managed and run by the Rotary Club of Katy with an all-volunteer staff. The club donates 100 percent of the net profits to support local causes in the Katy area. Prior fundraising from this event has resulted in more than $1.4 million in donations to the community, from scholarships for students to grants to area nonprofits. A spokesperson for the event said that they anticipate raising $70,000 from this year’s event.
Grab your tickets before they sell out at wildwestbrewfest.com/tickets. Organizers expect over 8,000 attendees this year. Wild West Brewfest is for adults aged 21 years and up.
