Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones, in partnership with Harris County Public Health, is offering free measles vaccines for children and adults through mobile health units deployed to Precinct 4 community centers, the commissioner’s office announced on April 7.
· April 11, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Freed Community Center, 6818 Shadyvilla Lane, Houston, 77055
· April 21, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Burnett Bayland Community Center, 6026 Chimney Rock Road, Houston 77081
· April 23, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Bayland Community Center, 6400 Bissonnet Street, Houston, 77074
Residents are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling 832-927-7350.
The mobile health units offer a crucial opportunity for residents to protect themselves and their families against this highly contagious disease during the rising outbreak in Texas, said a spokesperson for the commissioner in the news release.
