May Day rally draws protestors to Katy’s City Hall
About 75 local protestors converged on the Avenue D side of the City of Katy’s City Hall, 901 Avenue C in Katy, at noon on May 1 to protest against policies enacted by President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. One of many May Day rallies taking place across the nation that day, the local effort was organized by Indivisible Katy Huddle and Katy Area Democrats. Many of the protestors were local retirees concerned about the future of the Social Security program.
