I am writing to express my strong support for the Royal Bond Election with a passion for supporting the educational needs of the children in our community. We have outgrown the current high school by over 200 students with over 15,000 new homes in the district platted to be built in 4 new neighborhoods. Texas Law will only allow school districts to build schools with bond money. We MUST stay up with the growth. The stadium is over 60 years old and unsafe with deteriorating bleachers and playing fields, lights that can no longer be repaired, and insufficient space to hold UIL track meets and other UIL events. I received my education from Royal ISD and graduated in1966 as an Honors Graduate. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with Honors in 1969. I spent 45 years in successful service with Exxon and retired in 2019. I continue to serve my community in many ways. My educational foundation began at Royal ISD, and I am thankful for those who invested in me. It’s my turn to pay it forward now. I invite others to join me in supporting this Bond Election. Early voting begins October 20-31, 2025, at the Brookshire Convention Center, 4029 Fifth Street in Brookshire. Election Day November 5, 2025. VOTE YES for ROYAL 2 SOAR.
