The original location of Landry’s – located at 22215 Katy Freeway in Katy --closed in late December. Landry's, Inc. President, Chairman and CEO Tilman J. Fertitta was a partner in this first Landry's Seafood Restaurant with original founders, Bill and Floyd Landry. The restaurant, which opened its doors in Katy in 1980 according to the company website, is seeking a new location, the Houston Chronicle reported in a Dec. 30 story, but other details were not available.
