On a perfect autumn day on October 4, the Katy Rice Harvest Festival Parade wound through the heart of Old Katy, from East Avenue to Second Street around the historic downtown square to Avenue C and north. There were over forty entries, including politicians, school groups, service organizations and youth organizations. The event is sponsored by the City of Katy in partnership with the Rotary Club of Katy. The Katy Rice Harvest Festival is October 11-12 in Katy’s downtown square at Second Street and Avenue C.
