The Katy ISD Board of Trustees recently honored the more than 250 Katy ISD teacher recipients of the Katy ISD Education Foundation’s Inspiring Imagination teacher grant program. Grants for the 2021-2022 school year were awarded to teachers at forty-two Katy ISD campuses. Grant activities range from microscopes to wind tunnels, pottery wheels to butterfly migration stations – all inspired by teacher creativity and expertise.
This year’s grant award brings the foundation’s nine-year total to $2.3 million presented to 2,189 classroom teachers impacting an average of 35,818 students per year. Pictured are this year’s teacher grant celebrants with Katy ISD Board of Trustees and Katy ISD Education Foundation Board officers.
