Local resident Vera Jones has joined the King of Pops family as the newest Cartrepreneur, bringing handcrafted, all-natural pops to schools, parks, workplaces, festivals, and community events.

For Jones, this launch is the beginning of an exciting new chapter, one inspired by a career filled with connection and joy.

“I was blessed to serve as a flight attendant for 25 years, a career filled with laughter, adventure, and meeting people from all walks of life,” said Jones. “Later, I spent 13 years as an occupational therapist, helping people regain independence. Both careers were rewarding, but when I discovered King of Pops, something clicked. That first bite took me back to childhood, chasing the popsicle truck with pure excitement. I knew I wanted to share that same joy with my community here in Katy.”

Since starting with a single pushcart in Atlanta in 2010, King of Pops has grown into a beloved Southern brand, popping up at events and catering celebrations across the region. With Vera at the helm in North Katy, families and businesses can now look forward to enjoying favorite flavors like chocolate sea salt, raspberry lime, and cookies and cream, right in their neighborhood.
