The Katy Rice Harvest Festival is raising the bar once again for 2026 with the May 27 announcement of two major country music headliners coming to the historic downtown square this October. Multi-Grammy Award-winning group Lonestar will headline Saturday night, October 10, while Texas country favorite Neal McCoy will close out the festival on Sunday night.
Saturday’s headliner, Lonestar, remains one of the most recognizable groups in country music history. Known for hits including “Amazed,” “I’m Already There,” and “My Front Porch Looking In,” the band has earned multiple ACM and CMA awards, a Grammy Award, and has sold more than 10 million records worldwide.
Sunday night brings another fan favorite to the stage with Neal McCoy, known for crowd favorites like “Wink,” “No Doubt About It,” and “The Shake.” McCoy has earned multiple ACM awards and built a national reputation for his energetic performances and dedication to supporting communities and charitable causes.
Organized by the City of Katy in partnership with the Rotary Club of Katy, the Katy Rice Harvest Festival has become one of the largest and most anticipated community festivals in Texas, drawing thousands of visitors each year. Festival organizers announced that general admission tickets are only $15 and include access to all live concerts throughout the weekend. Children 12 and under receive free admission.
In addition to the concerts, festival attendees can enjoy:
· Carnival rides and attractions
· Expanded Agventure experiences celebrating Katy’s rice farming roots
· Hundreds of vendors and shopping opportunities
· Food from across Texas and beyond
· Toddler and family activity zones
· Sports viewing areas and entertainment spaces
· Live performances throughout the entire weekend
The annual Katy Rice Harvest Festival Parade will take place the weekend prior to the festival.
Beyond entertainment, the Katy Rice Harvest Festival continues to make a major impact locally. All festival proceeds are reinvested directly back into the community through scholarships and community grants benefiting Katy ISD students and local nonprofit organizations. During the May 2026 Scholarship Banquet, more than $100,000 in scholarships were awarded to local students, marking one of the largest scholarship distributions in festival history.
