The committee will be charged with determining the need for a 2023 schools bond program.

Katy school trustees recently called for the formation of a Community Bond Advisory Committee to review annual enrollment growth, school building capacities, renovation needs at aging campuses, as well as safety and technology needs across the district. The committee will be charged with determining the need for a 2023 schools bond program.
Committee members will be expected to attend at least three dinner meetings between late March and April. They will be presented with district budget and demographic data, long-range facility plans and building component replacement schedules. Meetings are as follows:
Dinner will be provided from 5-5:30 p.m.
Those interested in being contributing and engaged members of the committee are encouraged to apply. Deadline for applications is Feb. 15.
