Katy First Methodist Church honored at annual conference
Katy First United Methodist Church was awarded the "One Matters Award" by the 187th Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church held in Houston in late May. Only one church annually is awarded this prestigious award for renewed focus on significant work in community-focused missions and discipleship. The honor includes $1,000 award to Katy First UMC which will be donated for new United Methodist churches on the African continent. The church is located at 5601 E. Fifth Street in Katy.
