Katy Cares has been awarded the Platinum Transparency 2026 seal by Candid (formerly GuideStar) — the highest level of nonprofit transparency certification available, the nonprofit announced in a February 23 post on Facebook.

“This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to accountability, integrity, and responsible stewardship of every dollar entrusted to us,” the post said. :When you give to Katy Cares, you can be confident your investment is going exactly where it matters most — into the lives of single-parent families finding hope and healing. Thank you to every donor, partner, and volunteer who makes this work possible.”

The organization was also named as a Global 100 2926 Winner for “Best Single-Parent Family Support Organization 2026” by EMG Publishing Ltd., which recognizes and celebrates excellence around the globe, Katy Cares said in January 12 post on Facebook.
