Brite Touch Cleaners recently unveiled Katy’s newest 24-hour garment care kiosk, powered by advanced Metalprogetti technology, the company announced in a September 29 press release. Named "Battista," this innovative kiosk delivers unmatched convenience and service to the Katy community, marking a first in Fort Bend County and the greater Houston area. The 24-hour kiosk is located at the Katy store at 9550 Spring Green Blvd., Katy.
“Battista brings 24/7 garment care to Katy, blending innovation with convenience for our busy community,” said Leonardo D’Ambrosio, team leader and owner, Brite Touch Cleaners. “This investment enhances customer experience and supports the fast-paced lifestyle of our neighbors.”
Unlike kiosks used by some other dry cleaners, the Metalprogetti “Battista” system is fully automated and truly self-service, a company official said. Customers do not need to rely on an employee, special badge, or device to use it.
The Battista kiosk offers a simple, secure, and contactless process, the spokesperson said. Customers can create or log into their accounts, select "Drop off," and place bagged items into a secure chute. A text notification alerts them when their order is ready. To retrieve items, customers log in, pay, and collect their cleaning. Key features include:
· 24/7 accessibility for maximum flexibility
· Contactless service for convenience and safety
· Quick turnaround and automated retrieval
· User-friendly interface for seamless transactions
· State-of-the-art garment tracking for accuracy
“This kiosk is a game-changer,” said Sarah Thompson, a local resident and early user. “I dropped off my clothes after hours and picked them up the next day—fast, easy, and stress-free.”
Founded in 2009, Brite Touch Cleaners operates 18 locations in Greater Houston, with seven of those in the Katy area and with its main plant at 10605 Spring Green Blvd, #100, Katy. Brite Touch Cleaners is owned by Leonardo D'Ambrosio and Horacio Erminy. D’Ambrosio has lived here for seven years with his family, he said.
“We chose Katy as our headquarters because of its vibrant growth, strong community values, and ideal location for serving both Houston and the surrounding areas,” said D’Ambrosio. “Katy has always been a hub of progress and innovation, and we are proud to contribute to that.”
The company is actively engaged with local schools, including Seven Lakes High School, Cinco Ranch High School, and Paetow High School, where it provides choir and band uniforms cleaning at reduced rates. Additionally, the company has been contributing to the Fort Bend ISD's Community Vocational Program since 2022, helping students with special needs acquire the skills necessary to secure their first job.
“We believe that serving the community means more than just providing garment care—it means supporting the organizations and families that make Katy such a great place to live and work,” said D’Ambrosio.
