Join the Indian American Public Affairs Council for an informal “Conversation Over Coffee” candidate forum, with the candidates running in the upcoming Katy ISD board of trustees election.
The event is scheduled for March 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at HotBits Indian Cuisine, 25320 FM 1093 in Katy. The forum offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with the individuals seeking to shape the future of local schools, organizers said. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 1:50 p.m. so that the program can start on time. The forum is free to attend but pre-registration is requested. To register, go to https://t.ly/TURGZ. Food and drink is available for purchase.
The school board election is set for May 2, to fill positions 3, 4 and 5, which are being vacated by incumbents Amy Thieme, Morgan Calhoun and Mary Ellen Cuzela respectively, who have chosen not to run again.
