Local coffeehouse Humble Grounds has opened its third location at 2100 Cane Island Parkway in Katy, nestled behind The Oaks Restaurant. The shop, which is open 6:30 -11 a.m. with summer hours of 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning May 26, offers “grab and go” breakfast and lunch items. Owner Becca Ryan Speed said that the additional store provides a promotion for an existing staff member and will add five to ten jobs across the company. “The community has been beyond welcoming,” Speed said.
