Dan Smith creates social media video in response to charter amendment opponents
City of Katy Councilmember Dan Smith has created a 15-minute video titled “Addressing misinformation about the City of Katy Charter Amendments” in response to opponents of the proposed charter amendments that Smith introduced earlier this year.
While support for the individual amendments varied during the February 10 city council meeting, the decision to put all five of the approved amendments on the May 3 ballot was unanimously approved by all five council members.
In the video Smith walks viewers through each proposed amendment and what opponents are saying about them. He then responds in defense of each amendment.
