In the September 18 story about the “State of the Counties” event featuring presentations from Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones, Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Commissioner Vincent Morales and Waller County Precinct 4 Commissioner Justin Beckendorff, the name of one of the event hosts was inadvertently omitted. While the story correctly identified the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce as one of the hosts of the event, we failed to mention that the event was also co-hosted by the Katy Area Economic Development Council. The Times regrets the error.
