As an advocate of positive, joyful living, Comfort Keepers® of Katy, Sugar Land, West Houston is celebrating its eighth annual National Day of Joy on June 24. Celebrated annually on the last Wednesday in June, the National Day of Joy was created to recognize the importance of joy, connection, and emotional well-being.

Across the country, Comfort Keepers offices will celebrate National Day of Joy through local events, community activities, and social media engagement designed to encourage families to create and embrace joyful moments together.

This year’s National Day of Joy theme, “Joy Between Generations,” celebrates the meaningful moments shared between aging parents, grandparents, adult children, and caregivers.

To celebrate, your local Comfort Keepers offices will be hosting a Scoop Up the Joy contest where nearby senior living communities can enter to win an ice cream social for their residents and staff on June 24. To enter, local senior living facilities can either share a short story about what brings joy to their residents OR nominate their facility and tell us why they deserve a day of celebration. The last day to submit entries is June 18.
