City of Katy’s ‘Katy Exchange’ event donates proceeds from April 19 event to three area nonprofits
The Katy Exchange, a monthly event held in Katy’s historic downtown square at Second Street and Avenue C in Old Katy, donates 100% of its proceeds to nonprofits selected for each event. This month, in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the event supported these organizations with a $1200.00 check for each, presented at the event by Katy Area Chamber of Commerce board member J.R. Richardson:

Fort Bend Women’s Center
Fort Bend Rainbow Room – focusing on the needs of vulnerable children
