Propositions appearing on the City of Katy’s May 3 ballot

On February 10, 2025, Katy’s city council voted to put the following proposed charter amendments on the May 3, 2025, ballot:

Community volunteer urges a ‘Yea’ vote on all propositions

Brenda Hunter Martin, a well-known community volunteer and organizer of local programs such as Relay for Life of Katy and Milk4Many, posted a statemen in support of all propositions in the Facebook group “City of Katy Residents Forum” on April 2.

Overview of the propositions

The proposed charter amendments come from City Council’s ongoing efforts to improve how Katy’s city government serves residents.
