Brookshire kicks off Juneteenth with free family event
Brookshire residents practice line dances at the city’s Juneteenth Kick-Off Block Party held June 20 at the Downtown Amphitheater, 4025 5th Street in Brookshire. The free event featured free eats – fish, watermelon, cotton candy and popcorn and free drinks – with music by DJ Lil Buck.
