LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is hosting “Summer Sizzle,” a series of three summer events for the entire family to celebrate the summer season. The events will take place in June and July and are intended to bring together the Katy community for fun and safe summer activities.

“In celebration of the longer summer days ahead, LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is looking forward to hosting the Katy community for our Summer Sizzle series of events,” said Imani Webster, marketing manager at LaCenterra. “We are ecstatic for guests to participate in these family-friendly activities, all while having the ability to shop for fresh summer merchandise and grab a bite to eat or sweet treat to beat the heat.”

LaCenterra will feature a variety of fun “Summer Sizzle” events for people of all ages, including:

Blanket Bingo – Friday, June 13

Grab your blankets and get ready for some bingo! Taking place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Heritage Square in front of Ambriza, blanket bingo tickets are $10 per person for eight rounds of bingo, which includes giveaways for winners of each round. The first 50 attendees will receive a free scoop of ice cream from Kilwins, with additional scoops and popcorn available for purchase. Blanket Bingo is in partnership with Consuela to raise money for Katy Responds–a non-profit dedicated to home restoration. Registration is now open, and all proceeds raised from the evening will be donated back to the charity.

International Yoga Day – Saturday, June 21

Join Central Green for a morning of yoga to celebrate International Yoga Day. Taking place from 8 to 10 a.m. at Central Green in front of Dish Society, the yoga experience will feature giveaways, live music, sound baths and massages for all ages.

Outdoor Movie Night – Friday, July 11

La Centerra will be showing Shrek (rated PG) from 8:30 to 10 p.m. at Heritage Square in front of Ambriza. The first 50 people to attend will receive Shrek ears to wear during the movie.
