The Story Peddler bookstore at 538 W. Main St. in Bellville is hosting Dallas author Liese Sherwood-Fabre on Thursday, May 22 at 6 p.m. Sherwood has written many books including Sherlock Holmes mysteries, thrillers, young adult/teen books, clean romances, short stories, and non-fiction books. The event will focus on the first fiction book in a four-book series that Sherwood wrote on The Early Case Files of Sherlock Holmes which is “Case 1: The Adventure of the Murdered Midwife.”

Sherwood will also briefly discuss her book of Sherlock Holmes short stories called “Master of the Art of Detection.” For more information on the author and her books, visit her website at liesesherwoodfabre.com.

She will be available after her book discussion to sign purchased books. However, a purchase is not necessary to attend the event. All author events at The Book Peddler are free and open to the public.
