Houston-based developer Sueba USA announced May 12 the opening of Boardwalk Square, Katy’s newest luxury, mid-rise apartment community offering expanded wellness amenities and a prime location adjacent to Katy Mills Mall, Typhoon Texas and the Katy Boardwalk Nature Preserve.
Located at the intersection of Kingsland Blvd. and Katy Fort Bend Road, Boardwalk Square features 353 residences comprised of 20 open-concept floor plans, including studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. Residences range from 496 - 2,088 square feet, each offering contemporary interiors.
Apartment homes feature 9- to 12-foot ceilings and chef-inspired kitchens with soft-close solid wood cabinetry, brushed nickel hardware, under-cabinet lighting, quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliance packages with air fry convection features. Additional highlights include designer tile, spacious walk-in closets, and full-size washers and dryers. Select residences offer kitchen islands, soaking tubs or walk-in showers with floor-to-ceiling tile surrounds, and private patios or balconies.
Residents at Boardwalk Square have access to a collection of resort-style amenities designed for both relaxation and productivity. The community features an ultra-luxe leisure and lap pool with tanning ledges and poolside cabanas. Other amenities include an expansive courtyard lawn, open-air verandas with seating, TVs, cabanas with gas grills, a Paw Spa, and an intimate courtyard with social seating surrounding gas fire tables.
The community also places a strong emphasis on wellness, with a dedicated space designed for both fitness and recovery, an offering not commonly found in most apartment communities. Anchored by a 24-hour CrossFit-inspired athletic club with interactive cardio equipment, the wellness area includes a recovery room with a dry sauna and cold plunge, giving residents a more complete approach to health and well-being.
For remote and hybrid work, residents have access to private focus rooms, a co-working lounge with printing capabilities, and a business conference center with catering kitchen. The community also offers a resident lounge with TVs and a gourmet coffee bar.
Sueba’s other Katy multifamily communities include San Paseo at 1724 Partnership Way, and San Tierra, located at 1616 Partnership Way.
Boardwalk Square was designed by Sueba Consulting Inc., with construction services provided by SCS 221 Series, both affiliates of Sueba USA. Southhampton Management Inc., an affiliate of Sueba, will manage the property.
