The very first all abilities park in town is coming to life — and it’s right here within the Cross Creek Ranch community, Cross Creek Ranch by Johnson Development announced May 14 on its Facebook page.

Super Dave’s All Abilities Park will span 1.6 acres of thoughtfully designed inclusive fun. With three age-specific play zones, a splash pad to cool off, a shaded pavilion for gathering, and fully accessible pathways — this park is made for every child to explore, play, and feel welcome.

Located at 4200 Katy Fulshear Road, the park is set to be the ultimate superhero headquarters. Strategically positioned near Cross Creek West and accessible via trails from the Cross Creek Ranch community, the park has been designed with fully accessible pathways, which make exploring the park’s features possible for kids of all abilities. These pathways create a seamless experience, ensuring every child can navigate the park with confidence, whether they’re using wheels, walkers or legs.

Construction is set to kick off in the second half of this year with a planned completion date in 2026. Funding for the park has been secured through county park bonds.
