Troy Nehls at Fulshear Chamber
Congressman Troy Nehls, who represents the 22nd Congressional District of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives, spoke at the quarterly luncheon of the Fulshear Regional Chamber for Commerce on August 6 at Gauchos do Sul, 910 W Grand Pkwy South in Katy. His Congressional district includes portions of Fort Bend, Brazoria, Harris, Wharton, and Matagorda counties. Nehls expressed his disappointment at the difficulties in getting his proposed legislation to the finish line in Washington, which he attributed to a divided Congress. Nehls, who is originally from Wisconsin, said that he would be spending the majority of August campaigning in that state for the Republican presidential ticket.
