The Waller County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance identifying two men who robbed the T&T Grocery in Pattison shortly after noon Jan. 22. The men entered the store and one demanded money from the owner while brandishing a knife, according to a WCSO announcement.

“One male is described as about 5'5-5'7, thin build, with a medium complexion, wearing a blue surgical type mask and a gray hoodie, while the second male is described as a black male about 6'0, possibly with braided hair,” the announcement said.

The taller man was seen wearing a UT sweatshirt with the word “Texas” in white lettering and a Longhorn logo in the center. The other wore more nondescript gray and blue clothing with a medical-style face mask.

A vehicle suspected of being used for the robbery was seen idling across the street. The car was a dark-colored vehicle similar to a Chrysler 200, but could have been a Hyundai, Kia or Nissan with aftermarket chrome trim on the sides above the door.

After the robbery, the vehicle approached the old Precinct 4 building near the old Mamie’s location but was lost track of afterward. It was not seen in Brookshire along FM 359 after the incident.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery should contact WCSO at 979-826-8282.
