On their home field on May 2, the Katy Tigers softball team defeated CyFair High school to become the area champs in the UIL 6A Softball Area Playoffs.

Tigers advance to regional quarterfinals in softball playoffs

On their home field on May 2, the Katy Tigers softball team defeated CyFair High school to become the area champs in the UIL 6A Softball Area Playoffs. Katy won 9-0 and is now 36-1 overall. The Tigers will now face Clear Springs in the regional quarterfinals, date and time to be announced.
