On September 21, the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) announced a five-year extension of its partnership with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the world’s largest and most diverse volleyball coaches association. The extended partnership will continue to provide THSCA members with valuable resources, professional development opportunities and support designed to help high school volleyball coaches across Texas better serve their student-athletes.
“This five-year partnership extension demonstrates the THSCA’s long-term commitment to serving high school volleyball coaches and representing Texas high school volleyball on a national level,” said Joe Martin, THSCA Executive Director. “The resources the AVCA will continue to provide will help our volleyball coaches better serve their student-athletes across the state.”
As a part of this renewed partnership, the AVCA will provide educational content and sponsor high-level speakers at future THSCA Coaching Schools and Conventions. Additionally, the THSCA will be represented on the AVCA High School Leadership Council and host networking events in conjunction with the annual AVCA Convention.
“The AVCA is excited about continuing our relationship with THSCA and its community of volleyball coaches,” said Kennedy Wells, AVCA Senior Director of Engagement, Mission & Research. “This extension reflects our shared commitment to providing coaches with valuable education, exceptional experiences, and the connections that ultimately benefit the student-athletes they serve.”
