THSCA announces 2025-2026 Super Elite Teams for basketball Two players from Seven Lakes recognized

Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) released its 2025–2026 Super Elite Teams for UIL Basketball on April 15, honoring standout student-athletes from across the state for their exceptional performance this season.

Two players from Seven Lakes High School were among the Class 6A honorees – Isaiah Santos on the boys team and Madison Carlton on the girls team. No other Katy ISD athletes made the list.

Pfeiffer Greene From Fulshear High School in Lamar CISD was named to the girls team in Class 6A. The full list of Basketball Super Elite Team selections is available at: https://www.thsca.com/super-elite-teams.

THSCA extends its sincere appreciation to the coaches who dedicate their time, expertise, and mentorship to the athletes nominated for recognition this year. Their commitment plays a vital role in the growth and success of student-athletes across Texas. The association also congratulates each honoree for achieving this distinguished recognition and representing their schools and communities with excellence.

Super Elite Team honorees are nominated by THSCA professional members and selected through a review process led by sport-specific advisory committees and the Super Elite Team (S.E.T.) Committee. The S.E.T. Committee includes 808 coaches representing all eight THSCA regions. Final selections are determined based on committee recommendations.

To be nominated, athletes must meet the following criteria:

· Be varsity team members in good standing

· Demonstrate strong character and exemplary athletic performance

· Be nominated by a head coach who is a current THSCA professional member and meets all nomination deadlines
