The THSCA announced the 2024-2025 THSCA Soccer Super Elite Teams on May 21, recognizing student-athletes across Texas for their exemplary athletic achievement in the 2024-2025 UIL soccer season.
The honorees include a number of outstanding athletes from Katy ISD schools.
The 2024-2025 boys soccer super elite team includes:
· SPOTY: Noah Peterson, Seven Lakes High School
· Naim Arellano, Katy Taylor High School
· Aiden Erol, Jordan High School
· Anthony Sorto, Seven Lakes High School
· Josh Taylor, Seven Lakes High School
The 2024-2025 girls soccer super elite team includes:
· Rhegan Coombs, Tompkins High School

The THSCA Super Elite Teams consist of high school players nominated by current professional members of the THSCA. Nominations are reviewed and chosen by the THSCA sport-specific advisory committee and Super Elite Team (S.E.T.) Committee. The S.E.T. Committees are comprised of 808 coaches in the 8 THSCA regions throughout Texas. Based on the recommendations from the S.E.T. Committee, the sport-specific THSCA advisory committee will determine the final Super Elite Team selections. An athlete must meet the following criteria to be nominated for a THSCA Super Elite Team: the nominating head coach must be a THSCA professional member and meet nomination deadlines, a student must be of good moral character, on the varsity team, been a member of the team in good standing at the time of nomination and excelled as an elite member in their respective sport.
