Steve C. Smith, 63, of Bellville, Texas and formerly of Katy, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on April 12, 2020. He was born March 22, 1957 in San Bernardino, California to the late James R. and Norma J. Smith

 Steve worked as a Maintenance Team Lead for Bass Pro, Katy, Texas for the past 5 years. Prior to that he was Director of Security for Katy Mills Mall for 15 years.

 He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Tammy R. Smith: Children, Eric C. Smith and his wife Bethany, Kari R. Smith and fiancé Zach Self, 1 grandchild Tristan Deason, all of Bellville. Sisters in law Tracy A. Hogan of Waller, Karen D. Plante of Sealy and brothers in law R. David Albright and his wife Ruth of Salisbury, MA, and Esteban (Stevie) Rivera of Katy. As well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James R. and Norma J. Smith and sister Katherine A (Kate) Smith.

 Steve was cremated per his wishes. There will be no services. Those wishing to make memorial donations, may do so in Steve's honor to the charity of their choice.
