Fort Bend County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a man for aggravated robbery at a residence in Katy.
Joey Wood, 40, of Spring, is in custody in the Fort Bend County Jail. Bond is set at $150,000.
On Jan. 28, sheriff’s deputies responded to a call in the 28400 block of Hazel Trail. There, deputies said, Wood displayed a weapon, threatened a victim, and stole property before fleeing.
After further investigation, an arrest warrant was issued and Wood was arrested on Feb. 3.
“Our investigative team and our Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force partners continue to work diligently to get violent offenders off our streets,” Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan said. “This arrest is proof that our efforts are working.”
