Register for the Harris County ESD 48’s first annual Camp Blaze June 13-15. Camp Blaze is open to 25 male students that are between 14-18 years of age and is completely free of charge to participants thanks to the sponsors. Camp Blaze will provide a unique insight into life as a firefighter and/or EMS professional to encourage young men to consider fire and EMS service as a career.

Camp Blaze participants will take part in a fun-filled three-day camp of physical training, classes and fire/EMS simulations. They will also have the chance to ask questions, train, and interact with firefighters and medics from HCESD 48 and other Greater Houston Area departments.

HCESD 48 is working to secure a sponsor for Camp Blaze. Those interested in sponsoring are asked to email Chief Jason Tharp at jason.tharp@hcesd48.org. For more information and an application, visit the website hcesd48.org/.../2023/03/2023-Camp-Blaze-App.pdf.
