Royal ISD announced on February 4 that Coach Theadis Reagins has been selected to serve as a mentor in the R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Coaching Kids) program, a statewide initiative led by the Texas High School Coaches Association that pairs experienced coaches with those new to the profession. The district shared the news on its Facebook page.
Through R.O.C.K., mentors support early-career coaches through guidance, leadership development, and year-long professional learning—strengthening coaching programs and student experiences across Texas, the post said.
Coach Reagins was selected in recognition of his leadership, experience, and commitment to supporting the next generation of coaches. “We’re proud to see him representing Royal ISD and investing in the future of education-based athletics,” the district said in the post. “Thank you, Coach Reagins, for leading and giving back.”
